⦿ Telecom Lineman

Location: Langley BC | Kelowna BC
Job Summary:
  • Must have a minimum of a valid class 5 license, reasonable driver abstract.
  • Class 1, 3 or Air Brake endorsement an asset.
  • Mindful to work and conduct oneself safely in any environment
  • Excellent communicator in both written and verbal communication
  • Travel may be required
  • Availability to participate with On Call, scheduled evening shifts and emergency callouts.
  • Power Lineman & Pre apprentices considered.
  • Others as required
Prerequisites
  • Physically Fit
  • Have knowledge of Basic Hand Tools.
  • Ability to Dig, Lift to 50 Lbs. and have manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a Team Environment and execute specific instructions throughout the workday.
  • We are willing to train the right person.
Additional Information:
  • Hourly Rate to be determined on previous experience and qualifications.
  • Transportation supplied to Worksite or remote reporting Site.

⦿ Copper Splicing Technician

Location: Langley BC
Job Summary:
  • Splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of copper sites and links
  • Documenting and reporting on completed telecommunication work
  • Maintaining project and telecom safety documentation
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions & confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere including, but is not limited to carry, raise, and climb a ladder, carry, lift, and handle heavy equipment (manhole covers, cable reels)
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, and organized
  • Others as required
Prerequisites
  • Physically Fit
  • Have knowledge of Basic Hand Tools.
  • Ability to Dig, Lift to 50 Lbs. and have manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a Team Environment and execute specific instructions throughout the workday.

⦿ Fibre Optic Technician

Location: Langley BC | Calgary BC
Job Summary:
  • Preparation, Splicing and Testing of Fibre cables in both underground and aerial applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems or issues
  • Review and interpret telecom drawings and blueprints.
  • Conduct regular work inspections of underground and aerial fiber splicing locations to ensure work, quality, and adherence to customer technical specifications
  • Experience as a Fibre Optic Splicer/Tester is an asset.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures when working aloft and in confined spaces.
  • Others as required.
Prerequisites
  • Physically Fit
  • Have knowledge of Basic Hand Tools.
  • Ability to Dig, Lift to 50 Lbs. and have manual dexterity.
  • Clean Class #5 Drivers License with Air Brake Endorsement, Class #1 or #3 Driver’s License an asset.
  • Ability to work in a Team Environment and execute specific instructions throughout the workday.
  • Ability to Travel
  • We are willing to train the right person.
